Causes of High Blood Pressure

When you are in your younger years of life there are many health issue that you don’t give thought to until you reach your later years. Some dangerous and serious concerns can be diabetes, heart, kidneys, liver, stroke and one that is always at the top of the list is High Blood Pressure.

How do you get High Blood Pressure?

Your blood vessels are pushing against the walls. The heart pumps blood into the arteries which are the blood vessels. The blood travels through the body. High blood pressure is referred to as hypertension. When you experience too much blood going through the arteries it can be very dangerous. Normal Reading

Less than 120 over 80 Ex: 120/80


120-139 over 80-90

Stage 1 high blood pressure

140-159 over 90-99

Stage 2 high blood pressure

160 and above over 100and above

It is recommended to see your medical provider when your blood pressure is above the normal reading. The real causes of high blood pressure are not clear as why it happens. However, there are recorded facts that may be a cause for it. They are ones that give obvious reasons which are listed below:

  • Intake of too much sodium
  • Weight Gain
  • Smoking
  • Lack of exercise
  • Family history

These are just a few of the reasons for developing high blood pressure.  However you are made  aware of having high blood pressure it is always wise to seek professional help that will guide you with the correct and proper care that you need. High blood pressure is something that you don’t want to take a chance on and not have it taken care of because it can be very dangerous and lead to a tragic ending.
